Balanced Wellness

At Vista Healthcare, we recognize that hormone therapy is important for both men and women. As your body ages and adapts, hormone levels naturally fluctuate. However, sometimes these changes can disrupt your overall health and sense of well-being. Hormonal imbalances can affect nearly every aspect of your wellness, including energy, mood, muscle and bone strength, sleep, metabolism, and sexual health.

Know The Signs

While shifts in hormones are normal during life stages like puberty, pregnancy, and menopause (or andropause for men), other changes can cause lasting imbalance and uncomfortable symptoms.

If you are experiencing several of the following signs of hormonal imbalance, we can help identify the cause through comprehensive in-office hormone lab testing (billed to insurance when possible) and personalized hormone management:

  • Difficulty concentrating or “brain fog”
  • Unexpected changes in weight (gain or loss)
  • Increased or decreased heart rate
  • Frequent urination
  • Blurred vision
  • Dry skin
  • Fatigue or low energy
  • Hot flashes or night sweats
  • Insomnia or poor sleep quality
  • Mood swings, depression, or anxiety
  • Low sex drive
  • Loss of muscle or bone mass

Restoring Balance & Vitality

Hormone deficiencies are often underdiagnosed because they are rarely tested for—but they can significantly affect quality of life. At Vista Healthcare, we focus on restoring balance to help you feel your best, improve longevity, and enhance daily performance through individualized hormone therapy.

How Hormone Therapy Works

During your consultation, we’ll review your lab results, symptoms, and lifestyle to determine the best therapy for you. Treatment options may include pellet therapy, oral medications, compounded creams or troches, or injectables, depending on your specific needs and goals.

One of the most popular and effective methods we offer is bio-identical hormone pellet therapy. This therapy uses small, plant-derived pellets that contain hormones identical in structure to those naturally produced by your body. The pellets are inserted just beneath the skin—typically in the hip area—during a quick, in-office procedure. Once inserted, the pellets release a steady, consistent dose of hormones over time, closely mimicking the body’s natural rhythm and avoiding the fluctuations often seen with other delivery methods.

For men, testosterone levels tend to decline gradually beginning around age 30–40, decreasing by about 1–2% per year. Bio-identical testosterone pellets can help restore healthy levels, improving energy, muscle strength, mood, mental clarity, and sexual health without the drawbacks of synthetic hormones.

For women, hormone therapy can relieve symptoms of menopause and perimenopause such as hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, and fatigue while supporting bone density, sleep quality, and overall vitality.

Pellet insertions are performed in-office as a cash-pay service:

  • Women: approximately every 3–4 months
  • Men: approximately every 5–6 months
