Vista Healthcare ("Vista Healthcare," "we," "us") operates vistahealthcare.org, including Vista Aesthetics at vistahealthcare.org/aesthetics. This policy explains what information we collect through our website and our text messaging, how we use it, and the choices you have.

This policy covers our website and text messages. Your medical information is protected under HIPAA and is described in our Notice of Privacy Practices, which is available at our office or by calling us.

Information we collect

• Information you give us. When you book an appointment, call us or contact us, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, date of birth and the details you share about your appointment.
• Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours collects standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device, the pages you visit and how you arrived at our site. We use cookies and similar tools, including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, to understand how our website is used.

How we use your information

• To schedule, confirm and remind you of appointments.
• To respond to your questions and requests.
• To operate, secure and improve our website.
• To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Text messages (SMS)

When you give us your mobile number, for example when booking an appointment, you agree to receive text messages from Vista Healthcare and Vista Aesthetics about your appointments and care, such as confirmations, reminders and follow-ups. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or service.

• Reply STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE at any time to opt out. You will receive one message confirming that you have opted out, and no further texts after that.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with or sold to third parties. The sharing described in the next section excludes text messaging opt-in data and consent.

How we share information

We share information only with service providers that help us run our practice and website, and only as needed for them to do that work. These include our appointment booking and messaging platform (Boulevard), our patient portal and payment providers, our website host and our analytics provider. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the safety of our patients, staff or others.

Other websites

Our website links to services run by other companies, such as our online patient portal, bill payment and booking pages, and Google reviews and maps. Those services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to read them.

Your choices

• You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.
• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• You can ask us to update or correct the contact information we hold for you.

Security and children

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no website or transmission over the internet is completely secure. Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them online.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date above.
